For Iphone or Touch is a nice little application called "DoF Calculator".
Has many digital formats and even more film formats.
I thought it was the right tool to put on my Ipod Touch photo viewer to enhance it's use in photography. I'll let a more seasoned professional review it further. It was certainly cheap enough.

There's a free iPhone/iTouch app called "iSee4k" which does DOF calculation too. The app originated as a tool for users of the RED professional digital movie camera, and it now also supports film and digital still cameras.

Select the "RedEye" tab, set the focal length multiplier (if any) by touching the "i" button, then type in focal length, aperture and subject distance. Push calculate, and there you have it.

Pixel peepers can also set a custom circle of confusion, if they so wish.
