| Warning About Delkin Cardbus Adapter UDMA I have had a Delkin Cardbus 32 Adapter for my laptop for a couple of years and have been happy with it. Last fall, I upgraded to a Delkin Cardbus Adapter UDMA because I was buying a Canon 1Ds Mark III and wanted to take advantage of it's UDMA capability. I purchased a Hoodman UDMA compact flash card and was very impressed with the speed of file downloads to my laptop with the Delkin UDMA cardbus. However, after buying several Sandisk UDMA compact flash cards (they were on sale), I discovered that they were incompatible with the UDMA cardbus, although they worked fine with the old Cardbus 32. I called Delkin and they admitted they knew about the problem and offered to give me my money back. Actually, after some testing with a bunch of my old cards, the UDMA cardbus won't work with any of the newer Sandisk cards ( Extreme III and IV), UDMA or not. Apparently, Sandisk has some proprietary technology in their newer cards.
