Question Pelican Cases

1) I have a LowePro Pro Roller 2 that has an insert. The insert supposedly fits into a Pelican case of I'm not sure what number. Any ideas?

2) Looking at the Pelican™ RSV Series Wheeled Upright Camera & Computer Cases. I am wondering how well the detachable briefcase works. What I would really like is some photos of the things being used, full of gear, etc.

Thanks, Curt

Re: Pelican Cases

Well, I don't have one, but a quick perusal of the web sites uncovered this info:

Roller 2 Exterior dimensions:
16.5W X 11D X 25.2H in./
42 X 28 X 64 cm
Pelican 1630 Transport Case interior dimensions:
27.70" x 20.98" x 15.50"
(70.3 x 53.3 x 39.4 cm)

Looks like enough room to allow for a stuffed Roller 2.

Re: Pelican Cases

I was looking for a Pelican Case that the Insert from the Pro Roller 2 will fit into. I saw it somewhere when I bought the Pro Roller 2, can't remember where!

Re: Pelican Cases

OK, has anyone used the Pelican 283 RSV Roller Case? Got photos of it?
