laptop shelf for tripod?

I wondering if there is a clamp-on platform for a laptop on a tripod. If I were in the field shooting a landscape, and wanted something to sit my laptop on if I wanted to tether the camera, is there a piece of equipment that would clamp to the fiberglass leg of my Gitzo to give me a place to sit my laptop? Is anyone using anything like that?

Maybe something like this with a Mafer or Super clamp to attach it to the leg?

Thanks, James. The 3290 with a Bogen Magic Arm and Super Clamp looks like what I need. Unfortunately, the Magic Arm is $132. Oh well, .....
