Was wondering if anyone had ever cut the cord on a Canon RS-80N3 remote shutter trigger and spliced in a longer cable. Sounds simple but if there is something I don't know, at $70 to replace... Thanks for info.

contact bryan mumford, Mumford Micro Systems - The Crackpot Inventor with this question. he calls himself a crack pot inventor. he can do this preatty easily. he makes photographic timing devices mostly and has options for that unit to trigger a camera, inwhich he modifies a cable like yours.
