Help with Lowepro Orion AW

I just got this to replace the Tamrac backpack I've been using and it seems to be a great bag except for one thing. To quote the paperwork that came with the bag, "When not required, the DayPack stows neatly in the front pocket". Yeah right, no matter how carefully I fold the thing it won't fit in that pocket. I just figured I'd ask around and see if there is something I'm missing. Maybe I have to sacrifice a chicken to get the thing in there or something.

I have the bag in question, and yes, the day pack fits easily into the front pocket. Total time taken to fold it was about 20 seconds.

I guess I'm just lame. My was so tight when I jammed it in there I thought I would split the zipper.

Re: Help with Lowepro Orion AW

Both of my bags have been well used - perhaps they have a bit more 'give' than a newer bag. Perhaps LowePro have saved a few cents by making the front pouch smaller.

On another matter, I did find with my bag that I needed to alter the angle at which the shoulder strap is attached. I felt that in its original state the bag tended to tip over away from your body if the lids was open. Perhaps it was just the way it was packed but I nearly lost a 70-200 2.8 Canon lens into a local river when my bag tipped over. Since altering the bag the problem hasn't happened again.
