Metz Pc Cords and Pocket Wizards

Hi,
Does anyone know if Metz makes a PC connector for the 45-CT series flash units with same size audio jack that is used to connect to the Pocket Wizard? If so, do you know where I can purchase it?

Howdy,
Try calling BH Photo & video at (800) 681-9754 and ask for Eddie in the lighting dept. I also purchased Pocket Wizard Plus' recently and the cord you are looking for may be the same as the one used for the SB28 series uses. It is a regular camera PC connector on one end which attaches to the flash and the other end is I think 1/8" mini .
Hope this helps :-)
Sincerely, Mitchell Zachs

Mitch is correct,
I purchased a adapter that the sinc cord plugs into that has a audio plug on the other end, that in turn plugs into the pocketwizards. I use the existing cords from the metz and they plug right in. I dont have the model number for the adapter anymore though.

Re: Metz Pc Cords and Pocket Wizards

Just a brief suggestion about cords and adapters. When we designed the Flash Wizard and apocketWizard intially we intentionally chose the mini phone over the pc connector because of reliability. We made the adapter (mini male -pc female) to cover strobes that we had not made cords for. I would strongly recommend buying the custom cords over using the adapter for reliability reasons. PC connections just are not great and when the strobes don't fire you'll be looking at the radio suspiciously when you should be looking at the pc connections.

check out

they make the best cords and they will do custom work. You choose the end and length and they make the cord.
