Canon's new Powershot G10

Canon has listened to it's consumers again with the release of the 14.7 megapixel G10. With 28-140mm zoom, digic 4 processor and servo autofocus, this camera should be a winner.

PowerShot G10 IS Digital Camera

I need to replace my old Olympus camera, so it's going to high on the list for that.

Re: Canon's new Powershot G10

Anyone knows the price of this camera?

I have been years waiting to get a point & shoot and I think this might be what I was waiting for.

Raul.

What, specifically, is making the G9/G10 stand out for you all? What about the Panasonic DMC-LX3 or the Ricoh GX200?

So this stuff is actually useful and usable on one of these pocket cameras? Or is it all so fiddly that you never actually use them?
