ive talked to the guy. nice guy. gave me all the time i wanted.

i also know how to photograph water droplets, splashes, items shot with a BB gun or bullet, what the technique is, what equipment is required. happy to answer any questions.

Cool stuff.

A good friend of mine named Greg Parker has designed a microsecond-level flash system, and has just built several units to play with. He's recently been shooting water baloons and eggs and such with a pellet gun and freezing the results in time.

I had the privilege of meeting Professor Andrew Davidhazy two years ago at the Rochester Institute of Technology here in New York. He has published many articles on the subject of stroboscopic and stop action photography. I also witnessed his demonstration of photographing a bursting balloon. Here is a link to his website:
