Safety -- location stuff

One of the first things I'm going to want to cover is safety and I have this recollection of a video -- I think it was online -- of a bunch of photographer goofs on location. Things like taking one too many steps backwards when composing . . .

Does anybody have a recollection of this or any other serious and also humorous (or at least not deadly dull) material that would make for a good introduction to the topic?

Thanks in advance, Doug

Re: Safety -- location stuff

Doug - Just watched the Magic Schoolbus video with my daughter, which gave me a great insight into teaching. The students were making a robot, and it taught them about the human body in a way that made it fun. First the robot couldn't bend, so they used this as an opporunity to learn about joints. Interesting to get students to learn techniques so that they can solve specific problems, rather than simply for learning's sake.

That's a very interesting idea. Don't quite know how to use it yet, but I really like it.

Thank you!

Doug
