| Using a TV for evaluating shots Is the image you get on a TV connected to your camera's TV out (D70 in case that matters) good enough that it can be used to evaluate results without having to go into Photoshop? I'm trying to work out how to do a fairly high volume product shoot, something like a catalog I'd say and I'd like to be able to evaluate the shots without having to take the speed hit of using Nikon Capture and without having to move the images into Photoshop.
I know that for some purposes the answer will clearly be a resounding no. What I'm looking for is an improvement over the camera's LCD so that I can evaluate lighting and exposure and hopefully see the more major problems (loose threads, dust on the background, all the stuff that I seem unable to see on the set, but that glares in the capture ).
If the idea works, I'd appreciate input on monitors to use, brand, size, etc.
Many thanks, Doug |
