| Monitor problem I've been using a 5 year old Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2060u CRT monitor, and it has been a good friend. I recently got a new color management system with my HP Z3100pc printer, and now have the most accurate monitor calibration /profile I have ever had.
However, I when most of the screen is white, especially when black text is displayed, as in email or a Word file, I noticed that the left side of some text appears red. This happens more on the left side of the screen.
I tried adjusting convergence manually as well as returning it to the factory preset, but this had no effect on correcting the problem. Neither did degaussing, which I did several times. I cannot think of any other control to try.
Does anybody recognize what might be causing the problem?
