One of my eccentricities--and I have a few, lol--is that I like to keep things original or close to original as possible. I dislike fuzzy dice and third-party replacements. I'll be one of the first to admit, though, that the Adorama part serves the purpose equally well as does Canon OEM part. So I am paying a high price for my eccentricity.

I think after I factor in shipping and customs and brokerage, I'll likely be close to the $75 price or perhaps just under.

Thank you for your perfectly sound and logical advice. Unfortunately, I am battling my own eccentric demons.

I got my lens hood. The brokerage cost (excluding shipping) was about $36.00. But at least my camera lens is happy again with its lens hood firmly attached.

Kevin if you have them ship USPS/Canada Post your brokerage is $5. Usually I get delivery in 5 days from NY. If they ship air courier (just about all the ones I know of) the brokerage is included in the shipping fee and sometimes actually works out cheaper with next day delivery.

I didn't ask if they allowed for USPS/Canada Post. Some places do not use or allow USPS/Canada Post. I never asked, however, so I don't know. All I do know is that I have one expensive lens hood.
