Question 10D filter assy Low Pass
Hi!

I need know the exact size (height, width, thickness) of the original filter assy Low Pass of 10D for change it with an infrared one (tailor-made for me by a specialist): there is someone here who can help me?

Sorry, Canon does not publish these specifications. Your best bet is to contact the Canon Factory Service Center in your region. Here's the contact information for the Canon facility in Milan:

I had conctact Camera Service for first, but even does not publish the 10D specifications too

So I'm conctacting the CPS Canon Europe directly: hope to resolve this mesurament thing

You can try this link, and ask:

LifePixel Digital Infrared Photography IR Conversion, Modification & Scratched Sensor Repair

If that doesn't work, let your specialist take the camera, open it up and measure the filter. You have to open it up anyway to replace it.

You will lose service of the camera while this is happening, but since you want to convert it, I assume you don't need it anyway.
