Agree! Unfortunately, Ron's subject line promoted a robust 50D discussion in the 1-series section of the forum. If you'd started this thread earlier, Will, one of the moderators could have moved those posts over here.

I browse the forum by areas of interest so I like to see the discussions kept in their lane to reduce the time required as I swing by each day.

I love that they keep down-migrating the good features.

However, my 40D can make more pixels than a 50D. Bleah.

Felix,

The reason that I put my original posting under the Canon 1 Series section is because the article that I linked emphasizes the "New 5D (5DII)" and not the 50D. We then discovered with the Canon announcement that the emphasis is now on the 50D and the revised 5D is still a dream. Maybe one of the moderators can do the change over.
