Re: 40D in use - wedding shots from Saturday

Firstly I have no problems viewing in Firefox.

Nice shots Chris, and clear illustration of the difference in style between US and UK shooters.

I too am using Win XP and Firefox. I am not a member of pbase (don't even know what it is). I also just tried IE 7, and it worked flawlessly too. So I am not sure what the issue is for others.

XP here. Firefox comes up "forbidden". Paste url to IE and it works fine. I've viewed numerous PBase galleries using Firefox without issues in the past.

Strange.

I get "forbidden" also...I'm on latest Mac OS Safari.

But once image url is in url field, select url and hit enter button to load image.

Re: 40D in use - wedding shots from Saturday

This is really strange... I am on XP, IE 6 and I got the "forbidden" message for all links. I tried copying/pasting the links - same result... Then I just went to PBase.com home page, and then in the same browser instance I copied the link again - and I can see the pictures. Go figure... I have no pbase account.

Thanks for the pics!

Andras

There forbidden message seems to be a referral thing, probably to keep folks from embedding links in other websites. After getting the forbidden message just clicking the "go" button will load the image because the referrer is removed. "Refresh" will not work because the referrer is still included.

Re: 40D in use - wedding shots from Saturday

INteresting...I've used pbase for this purpose in the past without an issue, ever. I don't have a problem seeing the images...but another site i posted too is having similar, as in inconsistent, issues like you all are having here.

I have images here as well (ISO test shots of the 40D) and other sites i've posted to have had these exact same issues seeing the issues here.

It must be an internet conspiracy!

Try this....
Formals Photo Gallery by Christopher Perry at pbase.com the last 4 images and Reception Photo Gallery by Christopher Perry at pbase.com the last image.

Weird.
