Info On Getting Canon 10D Serviced

Hey Folks. I live in The Los Angeles area. I would like to find out how much it would cost and how much time it would take to do a basic service on my 10D. It needs sensor cleaning and make sure it is calibrated correctly as the autofocus seems to be getting a little off. If I drove it into the Irvine center personally, would that help speed up the process? Just looking for a ballpark figure, doesn't have to be absolute. Thanks steveb

Not long at all - as you said, just take a ride down the 405 to Irvine and hand it to them directly at their West Coast Service Center. This will save you the step of authorizing the repair which adds a few days. They will give you a cost on the spot.

Hi, Steve:

Here is the address you're looking for:

Canon Factory Service Center
15955 Alton Parkway
Irvine CA 92618
(949) 753-4200

Incidentally, you can get this information and a lot more from Canon USA's web site. Each of our products has a Support page that contains useful links to software, manuals, and repair information. Here is the URL for the EOS 10D's Support Index:

http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/control...mp;modelid=8772

Hope this helps!
