I was just wondering about your measured sync voltage on your 2405cx? Did you need the Safe Sync? I opted for one as my 2405cx is 70 volts -- but the new ones are less. Test with another camera to isolate the problem (?) as in cam vs. pack. I use a Safe Sync with my 2405cx and by 1ds'es and it works every time. Also, you can try your Pocket Wizards, and try changing cables, and disconnecting and just dumping the charge. If it still acts up with nothing other than a head attached, you know its the pack, and to me it sounds like the pack, but not enough testing to determine.
