Still no 20D and OS 9 for EVU/EC

I was hoping after upgrading to the newest OS 9 version of EVU and E Capture we would finally have compatibility so I could view my 20D files on OS 9, but no luck.

I am not sure what the benefiet is of having a OS 9 version if it cannot connect to the 20D.

OS 9 is so old that Canon probably decided to not include support for it with the 20D. Should like you need to upgrade.

That's horsepuckey. There are a lot of Mac systems still running OS9 very successfully. That would be like Canon refusing to support any Windows operating system except XP.
Just because it's not the "latest and greatest" doesn't mean it isn't still a solid working OS

No disrespect, but when the CEO of the company (Steve Jobs) says the OS is dead, why would a company continue to develop products for it? when you bought your Mac, no one guaranteed compatibility forever, or even 5 years. It's time to upgrade to OS X or get a new Mac that supports OS X.
