DPP 1.5- dumb question

What if you have both a 20D and a 10D-- do you need to download both updaters? If you only download the 20D updater, will DPP 1.5 work the same for the 10D? Sorry if this is a bit confusing...I just don't want to dump more stuff onto my hard drive than necessary.

Its my understanding you only need one instance of the software.

DPP 1.5 supports 10D and 20D files. You should use only one version.
The DPP 1.5 is an upgrade from DPP 1.1 that came with 20D.

Since DPP1.5 is just an updater. Do you know where I can "Legally" download DPP 1.1??? I don't want to use someone elses S/N on the 1DS to download the dpp1.1

PS - I only have a 10D, so I never have DPP 1.1, and Canon make it available under the 10D, which should mean that I am entitle to get the DPP 1.5

No serial number is required, at least it never asked me for one.

Though I installed it as an upgrade from 1.1, from what I've read elsewhere I don't even think it requires the previous version to be installed. This is so the digital Rebel and 10D people can get a copy.

Although the version is called an 'updater' it actually checks for the following to be present on your computer and is a complete install (I can only check the PC version I assume the MAC version is similar).

You should be able to install provided you have one of the above on your computer.

I've just tried an old machine that never had DPP on it and the program has installed.
