I've got a couple of 10D's. I just pulled out the one that I use only at weddings. The last image it took was 737_3740. That would indicate 63740 actuations. I got this 10D last April, and have used it at exactly 17 weddings. I typically take 800 shots at a wedding. Assume instead I take 1,000....that's still only 17,000.
I was scared for a minute. "What! I've taken 60,000 images with this camera?!? The shutter's got to be on its last legs!"
