Re: Genuine Fractals, Qimage Pro, SI Pro v2.0, VFZoom, Lions & Tigers & Bears, Oh My!

Here's my 2-cents.

I've used GF for years, and generally been very satisfied. However, a few months ago, I purchased VFZ, and have been very satisfied with the results. One caveat -- it produces slightly softer images, compared to GF, because of the way it enlarges an image. As mentioned, Gf can have some slightly weird artifacting, but produces a slightly sharper image. VFZ is much faster, especially when producing a 500% enlargement. The moral? I own both and use both. I'm a fashion photographer and find I like the files generated by VFZ better for models/clothes. I like GF for my scenics. It's worth owning both.
