Skip over the OS war in the beginning. It gets interesting further down with the discussion of 30fps vs 29.97 and the problems that causes.
Seems like Canon chose the wrong frame rate for the 5DII which does not coincide with the cine standards. Maybe the solution is being able to select the rate in firmware?
