White square pixels all over my cr2 conversions?

While looking at my 1DS MarkIII images at 100% I have noticed a large number of square white pixels in my conversions witrh either DPP or ACR.
These appear to be 1 pixel in size when blown up to 300% or more. A few of these I would suspect as maybe small dust particles but they don't move even after cleaning the sensor. I would guess that about 10-15% of the image is randomly impacted. Most dust I have seen is black, but these squares are white almost as if the colunm/row addressing has a problem and is not reading these pixels.

I went back to the test shots I made of the 1DSIII when I received it and took a pixel peek which found this. This is a crop of a small section which shows the kind of thing Im finding.
Any ideas Chuck or should I just call Irvine?

I found and ran this dead pixel dedection software.
StarZen Technologies, Inc; DataFlex tools and books

It only found 53 dead pixels at 30 seconds and 0 at 1 second at ISO 400, which Probably is not out of line, but the problems showing in the images are in the thousands. I'm at a dead loss as to what is occuring.
I have tried different ISOs, and different lenses, and different shutter speeds, and the bad spots stay in the same place.
One of the side effects is that the images allways appear "muddy".

This may be really out in left field, but is there a possibility that the sharpening is set at a high amount, and what you're seeing is artifacts from specular highlights? Or are the bright spots in the same place in different images?

Hi, Paul:

I'd be interested in analyzing a few complete images with all Exif data intact. Could you post some on the Web or send me some files?
