I can live with the histogram any way Canon displays it, except for one thing, the border on the right side (which doesn't exist).
In bright sunlight one simply cannot see where the histogram ends on the right side, and where the dead space to the right of that starts. A simple way to fix this would be to display a white one-pixel wide border around the entire histogram, so we could see very easily if the histogram extends all the way to the right or the left. Seems like a simple fix and I'm curious why something like this has never been done. I hear this same complaint from a lot of my fellow Canon shooters too.

Hi Tim et al
I agree with you that not being able to see the righthand side of the histogram in bright conditions is a real pain.
I would also really like to see an option of a full sized 3 channel histogram overlaid on the picture. AND if a live histogram could be superimposed in the viewing screen when composing a picture, as it is in live view on the LCD, would be super.
Thanks for all the ideas.

WOW! That would be the greatest! Checking a histogram without having to look at the lcd is the best idea I've heard yet, eh Chuck?
