Shutter Actuation Data for 1Ds

I'm trying to find the actual shutter actuation of my Canon EOS 1Ds. Is there a way to do this without purchasing the Cancount program? I tried the beta but that feature is disabled.

C1 (CaptureOne) will display this. You can also look at a full exif dump but you need info about the location of the counters and formula to calculate the total with I don't recall at the moment.

As Don stated, Capture One allows you to do this quite easily. And CanCount, costing a trifle and with which I have no affiliation, also makes this readily possible and has a few additional, worthwhile features as well (such as indicating your active AF point for a given capture).
