580 EX II With 5D and Turbo 2x2

I've been experiencing issues with flash recycling when my 580 is coupled to my Turbo 2x2. The battery would shut it self off but all indicator lights remain lit. Also I noticed that if I didn't turn on the flash first prior to the battery again the battery would shut down. I couldn't figure what the issue was so I called tech support at Quantum and they told me that there is an update that fixes the issue but requires a service center visit. So off to Quatum it goes....

Hey,
I had a similar problem with my Quantum turbo, and had it fixed by them in no time flat. They are great and very reliable. The high voltage indicator would shut down but the battery life indicators would remain on, and no flash would fire from the power pack. Time to change the batteries or other part.
