Just installed DPP 3.0 and can't see CR2 images
Hi all

I've just upgraded to DPP 3.0 and now when I launch the app none of my images display. They are "seen" by DPP and I can see Info etc but the images themselves are just grey blanks. If I try to open an image in the edit window I just get the spinning wheel of death. Any ideas? I have tried reinstalling DPP 3.0, rebooting etc - all to no avail. I am thoroughly baffled.

I thought I should add some more information. I am using a Mac (dual G5, PPC). I can click on a thumbnail (just a grey box) and export to photoshop and see a rendered image in PS but I can't view any image in DPP.

I'm on DPP 3.0 and don't have a problem. Mix of 20D/5D files and no problem yet. Canon's DPP is the best I've used and it's very quick and effective. Processes beautifully.

Have you checked on the "quality" settings, and it may be on the speed method to preview faster. Sorry, can't answer your question.

It might be faster to reinstall completely - often that solve things quicker than trying to "science out" exactly what's gone wrong. Might save some grief, worth a try!

I have trashed everything and reinstalled and no joy. I've had no problems until I did this latest install. I am completely baffled. I have Camera Window, DPP, EOS Utility, ImageBrowser and Photostitch installed. I'll try again I guess.
