| Re: Canon 5D and gyro stabilization I've never used a KS 2 only the 6 and 8, the KS-8 I own. I'm not sure with longer lenses that the 2 would have enough grunt. I think you need to use one to see how they feel, you can't operate them fast, there's no swinging the camera around to grab a shot, it's more swing wait for the gyro to settle shoot. I think even the KS 2 would be difficult to shoot portrait, yes a gyro is going to help but it won't be a given that every shot is sharp. Like I say I often use both together IS and KS 8, but I am dealing with aircraft movement and vibration often in low light.
