That is the default operation on all Canon as long as the Self timer is not set.

Press # 1 - Mirror lockup
Press # 2 - Shutter Release

I know [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] My post was in reaction to that of KirkThompson. More or less stating that I don't think a 'timer only' option would be a good idea. I should have been clearer....
