Using Canon or Kodak on view camera\'s

Hello:

Even though I own Kodak, I am asking this question in both forums since Canon and Kodak can be used under these conditions.

Can anyone comment on actual usage of either a Cambo Ultima 35 or Kapture Group 35 for attaching the camera to a view camera? With most of the digital correction programs available, I can get by with the the Kodak without the expense of going to a digital back. That is except for focus down horizontal planes in studio tabletop setups. In that case, I think view camera adjustments are still the way to go. I am especially interested in the Kapture Group version since it would attach to my Sinar P cameras.

I know the chip is recessed inside the camera and limits swings and tilts. But, can you still tip or swing the front and get some type of focus control while still maintaining sharpness at the chip plane?

I recall this being talked about months ago but I was unable to find the appropriate line of emails to see what was written.

Thanks,

Paul
