Set Photography.

I don't know if people really enjoy posting shots in this forum, but I always enjoy looking.

Yesterday I was in a short movie called "City Flower". I didn't have a large roll so I was able to take some set photographs. This was shot on the backlot at Universal.

This is probably my favorite shot of the day, but there are some other good ones on my site as well as some more info on the shoot.

There are more here. Click "City Flower".

Phil

Equipment used was 85mm f/1.2L, 50mm f/1.4, 14mm f/2.8, and the 24-70mm f/2.8L.

Comments always welcome.

Yes. That is true. It's certainly not like I snuck in the camera. I talked to the people at Universal and NYFA and explained everything, I also recently did some production photography (I work in visual effects) on Skeleton Key there recently with a 5 camera rig.

This was a student film. The student is a kid I mentor. Everybody said okay. Now if I went down the street a bit and started shooting photos of the War of the Worlds set I'm sure I would have been in heaps of trouble.

I love the shallow DOF photos, and the work done on B&W conversion..

Re: Set Photography.

Thank you Waleed. The short itself was shot in black and white so I'm trying to tap into the "feel" of that I guess. All of the b/w stuff had some channel mixing done.
