There's a little switch that configures it to 2GB or 4GB. Sandisk doesn't trouble itself to tell you about that.

Actually, yes they do. The switch positions are clearly marked on the back of the card.

Yahoo, happy to report I just got the new Lexar FireWire (Black & Grey) card reader and my new Ridata 4GB card is readable.

I've just received a SanDisk Extreme III 4GB CF-card.
Used it yesterday on a rally race, no problem.
Use WinXP Pro on a Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo X, with integrated cardreader.
Just happy days here

Further report, the new Lexar FireWire reader does not read any of my cards, any brand or size under XP. Whatz-up with dat?

Is that the RW-019 reader?
It's supposed to be the best reader out there for CF.
I was intending to get one to replace my Microtech which has become very sporadic.

Yep. I have mainly Ridata cards but I also have a couple Lexars and a couple Kingston cards it would not read any of them under XP.
