So, why would you want to use a gyro stabilizer for still photos? Since everything is at infinity, depth of field is not an issue, so at ISO 100, you are shooting at 1/1000 at f5.6 on a sunny day. Sharp images, no problems. Overcast? 1/500 at f4. Most lenses can do that and be close to the sharpest f-stop. For video, the gyro would be a good choice, along with a helicopter. I have 32 years doing aerial photography and have never needed a gyro. My airplane is maintained with that in mind, so dynamic prop balancing is done periodically, and the engine is smooth because I manage the fuel/air ratios between cylinders very carefully.
My market is Realtors and Developers, Engineers, Forestry and Timber, Large Industry, Commercial Property Appraisal, Construction Progress, Legal, Shipping and Dock operations, Chambers of Commerce, and larger land owners.
Good luck.
