With 2 and 3 photographers at an event and switiching camera bodies and lenses around, what is the best way to identify an image with a particular photog? Besides each photographer having their own flash cards, which doesnt look like an option to me, there must be a way to tag images quickly for each user.
Thanks, Roger

why not have them quickly turn the camera around, shoot a picture of themselves to start the session, and then one to end their particular time with the camera...thus any images falling within the border of their own faces appearing would then be the images that that particular person shot.

Make sure the photogs do not switch bodies, then check the EXIF info. If the photogs keep the same camera you can also embedd the photogs name in the EXIF info.
This is probably the easiest way to do it. Generally when there are more than one photog at the same event using the same gear you have them use specific flash cards, and dump those cards into individual folders.
At the 2003 Super Bowl UPI had four of us out there using Nikon D1 series bodies (total of 10 bodies), and another two using DCS520 bodies (total of 3 bodies), so every CF card was labled with our name, shuttled back to the photo trailer in an envelope with out names on it, and then dumped into a folder on the desk top with out individual name.
At the end of the night we all knew what each of us had shot.

The beautiful thing about the Canon 1D is that every image has a unique serial identifier as the beginning of every file name.
So when I run an event with 6 cameras, I make sure they are all time sync'd and then I know who was shooting with what body when. I can then go through any set of pictures and find out who is shooting what - have them correct settings, find out who sold the most, etc...
Ideally, have your shooters swap lenses all they want, but have them hold on to one body.
