Re: Phase One bug fixes

Don Where did you get this version so quickly? I don't see it yet on the P1 website.

Mike

Re: Phase One bug fixes

Wai-Shan,
Yes, it reads custom from the camera, but there are remaining issues. Apparantly what comes out of the camera doesn't exactly correspond with the documentation from Canon. (I don't find that surprising, do you?) I don't use custom so can't be more specific, but apparantly it works -most- of the time. P1 expects to correct this in a future release.

Re: Phase One bug fixes

Jack, I can see Phase One is trying to correct the problems and my "ripp-off" label was harsh.
If they had left the marketing to you much of the false informatin would not have happened.
Once the smoke clears, I will give it another try just to be fair. I still think waiting for Adobe's release is a good idea since many who have seen it say it is good. Then a final decision would be in order.
Thanks Jack for clarifying some of the confusion.
Regards, Fred

but bart, you can do 1000 raw in an hour with canon's! =)

WSLam,

Very Funny! If the fixes are what they say they are the operation should be fast and the quality would be worth it.

Bart
