Shot with EOS1d today

Well my Canon rep showed up with the camera today and all I can say is I can't wait. He had also just got it back this morning from getting the firmware updated. So I'm sure Rob will have one to review files on soon if he doesn't already.

I only got to shoot it around the office under flourescent light but the files shot at 1600 look pretty good to me. There is a little bit of blue noise in them but I think it will easily be fixed by Quantum Mechanic. They do look better then D30 files at 1600 though.

My rep also said that they might have another firmware update before the camera is released maybee Chuck would know if this is true or not.

Anyway, we Canon shooters now have a serious digital to work with.

HI Ric -- thats fine -- send them and I'll post URL.
Loads of us are waiting to see pix. The ones on Canon's site were'nt that impressive -- but after firmware fixes we are waiting with bated breath.
Spec looks an awesome camera.
