Decent Sample RAW pix from EOS 1D ???

Hi all -- I've scoured the 'net from top to bottom -- from Iceland to Antartica and have yet to come across some decent sample RAW pix other then the dog shyt-e on Canon's site. -- Anybody got any yet especially in RAW mode -- some of you must have trialed this camera - even a pre-production model. I love the spec of this camera and want to lust for it but the only sample pix I've seen do not make encouraging viewing -- although I know Canon have been working on a fix for the image quality.
Canon shooters who have been waiting patiently for this camera need to see waht it's capable of.
I have to do my budget in November and need to know NOW if I order this camera or switch to Nikon / Kodak.

You won't see any EOS-1D RAW files on the Web until Canon Inc. finalizes the driver software. When? They haven't told us, so we can't tell you. When we can, we will. In the meantime, thanks for your interest.

Hi Chuck -- thanx. From us pros the interest in this camera is HUGE and I know Canon want to get it right. I really am not going to switch to Nikon -- I have too many years invested in Canon gear and "muchos pesos" invested in glass and other accessories etc.
It's just that having got into full time digital (and loving it) I am lusting for equipment that Kodak and Nikon shooters have already had for a while.
I love the D30 and it has far surpassed my expectations in it's usability for pro applications but like most of us the proper pro EOS 1D looks like the answer to a lot of our prayers.
As I said the spec of the 1D looks very very impressive indeed and I can't wait to get my greasy mits on one of these babies.
It's just frutrating to have to wait a little longer
