I was able to shoot images jpeg fine and raw at short course Sunday in Syracuse and save them on my own CF card. Canon asked that I not post them but indicated images should be available in a couple of weeks.Have only looked at them quickly on a Pismo laptop. Did not see banding at 1600. Noise was acceptable at 1600 and was reduced well by Quantum Mechanic. At 200 appeared to be almost no noise. Could one of the folks who has the new Canon software e-mail it to me at
swheeler@ithaca.gannett.com please and I will look at some raw files. It is late now and am tired will post more Monday when I am more with it. Thanks for any help with software.
