Re: EOS 1D Acquire / conversion software

Hi thanx to the poster who emailed me a copy of the software -- Yes it does process D30's faster (although not 2X) The white balance trick also works.
Agin thanx for the software
Cheers

I would love to get a copy of the now removed soft ware.
Please email to dan@allprophoto.net if it is still around.
Thanks Dan

Re: EOS 1D Acquire / conversion software

Raptor,

How does the same image converted with both pieces of software (old vs. new/beta) compare under close examination?

Re: EOS 1D Acquire / conversion software

Haven't had a chance to use it yet -- been worked off my feet and travelling between Holland and England. Itching to test it this week and will post my findings

Re: EOS 1D Acquire / conversion software

Raptor,

Early reports were suggesting that the old D30 capture DLLs were still being used for D30 raw captures and any new code was only used for 1D image processing. Bruce Henderson (Yarc fame) wrote a tiff difference utility that allows any differences between two tiff images to be magnified and examined. You might find that utility handy when doing your test.
