CCD dirt, antiailising and card questions

I notice Canon's website states that if the CCD gets dirty, it will have to be sent to Canon for cleaning.

My 520 requires me to clean the CCD about every third wedding. I do this myself, but it sounds like the 1D is going to be making a lot of trips to Canon if the 1D gets dirty as easy as my 520 does.

Despite Canon's claim that it is a sealed unit, I saw evidence of CCD dust spots on the photo samples on their web site.

I have also not been able to find out about the AA filter. One dealer told me he believes that it is built into this unit. Does anyone know for sure?

Third, what is the recommendation for type II cards to use. 340, 520, microdrives, flashcards, etc.?

Dust on the new EOS 1D will be a problem like the D1 series. My competitors used the now discontinued 620x where the AA filter was not welded to the imager. They had little problem removing dust. Sealed or not, all lenses/cameras get some dust. Some come with dust from the factory and you still need to change lenses from time to time, which breaks any seal. The CMOS on the D30 has less problems with dust overall. Canon shooters should swing over to the Nikon posts to see how they delt with this problem...beleve me it has been an issue for several years now.
