Flash E-TTL Only - No TTL Mode???

I was just reading the fine print at dpreview.com and noticed that the 1D
does NOT support TTL mode flash! Is this
correct? I have the D30, DCS 520 & DCS 560,
and the flash mode with the DCS cameras is
far better than the crappy E-TTL only mode
of the D30. Anyone have feedback on this? - thx Lance
