EOS 1d Sample pix from website are JUNK

Hi there -- Love the spec of new EOS 1D but I can't believe the 1D website was offering these as sample pix. The picture of the Model was totally washed out. My Grandmother could get a better picture with a disposable camera.
Anybody got proper sample pix.

I agree- I get far better portraits out of the D30. The scenic - also has apparent noise in the blue sky.

Just found more samples.
Another portrait - (worse yet)
Motorcycle - (shooter doesn't know how to rotate the camera to vertical format or know how to compose)

The Jewlery is the best/quality shot. but the only ISO 100 shot.

Pixels aren't much greater than my D30, images don't appear any better. You'd think they'd want the best possible images out there for the initial first impressions.
I'm not interested in loosing LCD mag on playback for more FPS or better focusing.

Yawn
