Portable racks for displaying framed photos at festivals

Gents,

I'd like to take advantage of the collective wisdom out there for suggestions for where to go for a (hopefully) once-in-a-lifetime purchase -- it looks like it's time to buy a framed-art display system for festivals. I found Pro Panels (Propanels :: Professional Panels for Professional Artists) -- fabulous, but (it appears) very expensive. I was thinking of something more along the lines of a break-down-able grid wall, though searching for grid walls in Google was less than fruitful.

Any suggestions?

-- Roger

My first suggestion would be to go to all the Art Fairs that you can and see what others are using. The Pro Panels look really nice as a background and things hang on them well. They may be heavy and expensive, but if your buying them once, the cost will diminish over time! I used grid panels from a store fixture supply place, they worked alright but are awkward and not a great background behind your work.

Gridwall Panel 2 ft. X 6 ft.

Peace, Curt
