| stock agencies and submission guidelines Hey all. I've been doing some research on different agencies and it's beginning to get overwheliming. How is one supposed to know whether or not images will do well with Veer vs Jupiter or Corbis vs Getty vs Workbook, etc? All of them want exclusivity for a period of time so once you sign, you can't switch so it seems.
Another problem I've just encountered is that the majority of them are now only accepting 12mp camera files and above. Since technology moves so fast they keep raising the bar. I've shot well over 10,000 images on my 1dmk2 and have a decent collection of highly marketable stock. However the camera is 8.2mp. Of course I can interpolate and up res and they look great. How do I face this issue? Has anyone had experience with this? Also is there maybe a way to strip metadata so it doesn't show what camera it was shot with? In the end, it's all about the picture, and if the quality is there.
Any recommendations on stock agencies that have well proven success would be helpful.
Thanks |
