Studio Newsletter to Promote Business

Anyone using a newsletter to promote their photography business. I do and it really is a less invasive way to stay in touch with your clients and generate referrals and repeat business.

I have a page on my website that you can view some back issues for ideas:

Regards,

Mark Madere

I hope that it works for you.

The two other photographers I know that do newsletters have seen no increase in business. However, they do get some street creds for getting their work and articles out there.

We save them as PDF files and send them to OfficeMax for printing. We then take them to a local bulk mail house (they let us use their bulk mail permit number for free). They take our mailing list and run it through their national postal database to correct addresses. They ink jet the addresses on the newsletter and take it to the Post Office for delivery. The use of their bulk mail permit pretty much offsets the cost of their handling the mailing of the newsletter. And because they are automated, they can get out a 2000+ piece mailing in a day or two.
