My wife and I market my voiceover services constantly by email.
I have agents in NY, LA and Toronto that do the negotiating. But we have to market ourselves.
My wife has devised a system where she spiders sites for address's Then she determines how their email server works...ie: rob.J; robJ: J.rob in flitering emails.
We have a program that sends a test email to the server to determine if the email is valid.
Only after that do we send out no more than 50 emails per day,
We've had an excellent response rate and we have not been blacklisted.
Email marketing has become somewhat of a science!
If you do it right it pays off. Mass emails get you nowhere quickly!
