Photoshop/jp2000

I'm having a problem getting photoshop cs3 to open jp2000 files. I've added the plug in but when I try to open the jp2k file I get a message saying "Not enough RAM" I have 3gb of RAM on the pc, can anybody tell me a way around this or why it is happening?

thanks

Brian

Re: Photoshop/jp2000

I don't know that I have the specific answer to the problem, (and furthermore, I don't understand all I know about the situation), but the last time I had that type of problem, Adobe techs gave me a ballpark amount of ram to be assigned to CS3 in the performance section, and I had more than that assigned. By actually reducing the amount of ram allowed to CS3, I eliminated the "Not enough RAM" messages. The problem I had then had nothing to do with the type of file I was attempting to load, and the same condition may apply in this case.

It might be worth a try to reduce the amount of RAM allowed to CS3 to see if it helps.

I'm having asimilar problem - I'm running the 64 bit version of Visa, will installing CS4 help at all?
