Adjustable Posing Stool/Table

I'm in the market for an adjustable posing stool/table combo and I'd like some recommendations. Is any one brand better than the other?

Re: Adjustable Posing Stool/Table

I use a support that I found at Home Depot that's for supporting boards that you're running through a power saw. It has an adjustable angle on the table, slides up and down easily, and best of all, folds flat when I'm not using it. I think it was about $25.00.

If you're really cheap, get one the low end office chairs with a small backrest. You can flip it around and the subject lean their elbows on the back of the chair, and you can slide the back rest up and down.

If you do a lot of studio work, Photogenic is nice...

Re: Adjustable Posing Stool/Table

I've not gone the table route but I might check out Home Depot after reading David's review!

I got a stool last month from Midwest Photo in Columbus for $40 or $50 I think. It spins and goes up and down like an office chair and came with feet or wheels. I chose to put the feet on so when I put it in place for a pic it will stay there! (kids these days). It has 5 or 6 legs to it so it's more stable than a low end office chair.

They sell a table too, I think it's $90-100 range.
