Chroma Key software?

I would like to do chroma key portraits, at least I am seriously thinking of it. I have and know how to use photoshop CS2, but there are some situations where detail is lost, or the processing is inadequate. I know there are some software solutions to this. Does anyone have experience with this? Should I look towards traditional backgrounds instead?

Re: Chroma Key software?

Thanks, Martin. Do you use this plugin? How does it handle "fuzzy hair" for example, tiny bits of background within a pose? Would you recommend it for formal studio portraits?

Re: Chroma Key software?

I use it quite a bit and it does a nice job in and around whisps of hair

This is from a sample photo downloaded from the primatte site
I ran the plugin on the first image and resulted in the second
